Alce Nero bologic black tea is a blend of highly selected black teas with a deep, intense and pleasantly aromatic taste. Black tea (a plant of origin Camellia Sinensis) is the most widespread and well-known in the West. Alce Nero organic black tea is a fine selection of black tea from the plantations of India that preserves all the aroma and taste typical of the plantation.
Camellia Sinensis, the plant from which tea is obtained, is an evergreen shrub, whose processing begins at the end of its third year of life with the manual harvesting of the young leaves, which constitute the best harvest. The leaves, after the first drying, must undergo a fermentation process that takes place in a hot and humid climate to facilitate some biochemical processes within the leaves themselves, which are loaded with aromas and take on the typical dark color (hence the name black tea). After fermentation they undergo further drying.
For black tea, an infusion of 3-5 minutes is recommended, but it is good to know that theine has beneficial qualities that can be dosed with careful preparation. The case contains 20 filters packaged in individual sachets. The filters are 100% compostable.
